Antique Qing Water Color and Ink Paper Fan with Calligraphy.
A pair of birds executed in loose brushwork, colophon and signature to the left side of the fan with one red seal.
The calligraphy as follows:
镒斋仁兄大人雅属,戊寅秋七月筱园方桢写于曼殊室
Pinyin:
Yi Zhai Ren Xiong Da Ren Ya Shu, Wu Yin Qiu Qi Yue Xiao Yuan Fang Zhen Xie Yu Man Shu Shi
Translation:
Receiving the gracious invitation from my brother Yi Zhai, I, Fang Zhen from Xiao Garden wrote this at Man Shu Room in July at the year of Wu Yin.
