Description:A porcelain four sided- vase with calligraphy on two sided and fencai figures on the one two side and botanical image on the other side.

Characters of the text:教子学前贤，休令恃少年。时癸丑彩云轩写

Pinyin:Jiao Zi Xue Qian Xian, Xiu Ling Shi Shao Nian. Shi Gui Chou Cai Yun Xuan Xie

Translation: Tell the children to work hard, never waste the childhood time. Written at Pavilion Cai Yun in the year of Gui Chou

Works by Caiyun Xuan workshop mark have been attributed to Wang Qi 王琦（1884-1937）Wang Qi employed by Caiyunxuan for nine years (1912-1920).
