FAMILLE ROSE TEMPLE JAR AND COVER ON WOODEN STAND

Details: Brightly decorated in famille rose enamels with four principal panels, showing courtly figures gathered around a ruler on a veranda, a lively skirmish involving men and a horse and figures in a mountain landscape, possibly from The Romance of the Three Kingdoms, all on a ground of flowers, foliage, fruit and butterflies with copper rim and cover bands, later associated with a finely carved wood stand.

Place of Origin: China.

Material: Porcelain.

Condition: In good antique condition, namely no cracks or chips some loss of enamel and cracking of the enamel particularly on the white section as shown. Additional pictures upon request
