Begonia, A nature design of a begonia with pink blossoms and buds. This woodblock style combined the direct observation and realism of Western artists with traditional Japanese painting techniques.
Artist – After Mauruyama Okyo ( 1733-1795). He was a popular artist and teacher, founding the Maruyama School in Kyoto.
